BKD Halalan 2026: Apayao NIAHS Elects New Officers, Classroom Leaders Take Oath
Calanasan, Apayao – February 2026. Democracy and youth leadership were in full display as the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Student Organization of Apayao National Integrated Agricultural High School successfully conducted its School-wide Election of Officers. The event was marked by the active participation of BKD class officers from Grades 7 to 12, ensuring inclusivity and representation across all year levels.
The election highlighted the organization’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and service, with newly elected officers pledging to uphold the mission of BKD in building a drug-free community.

Assumption of Duties
The newly elected school-wide officers will formally assume their duties in the next school year, 2026–2027, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership and continuity of programs.
Oath Taking of Classroom Officers
In addition to the school-wide election, the Oath Taking Ceremony of the newly elected BKD Classroom Officers was also conducted. The oath was administered by the BKD Adviser, symbolizing the officers’ formal acceptance of their responsibilities and their commitment to serve their classmates with integrity and dedication.
Commitment to Service
Both classroom and school-wide officers expressed their dedication to uphold the BKD’s guiding principle: “Maging Barkada, Huwag Droga!” The election and oath taking reaffirmed the collective resolve of Apayao NIAHS students to stand united against illegal drugs and promote a culture of discipline, wellness, and community engagement.
