June 04, 2026:The Office of the Municipal Treasurer successfully conducted an IEC campaign on Local Tax Collection, Business Permits Processing, Disbursement processes, and facilitated work for Tax at Barangay Langnao, Calanasan, Apayao. Through hills, river crossings, and the scorching heat, we reached the community and delivered the message. Truly public service knows no distance.

May 7, 2026 | The Office of the Municipal Treasurer officially commenced the conduct of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign on Local Tax Collection, Business Permits Processing, and Disbursement Processes at Barangay Cadaclan, Calanasan, Apayao. The activity was headed by the Municipal Treasurer, Ms. Gingging Kirtug Borja, in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Municipal Health Office, with the presence and support of Hon. Florante T. Parandit, SB Member/CADAMA Cluster Head.

The activity aims to strengthen public awareness and understanding of proper tax compliance, updated business permitting procedures, fire safety regulations, health and sanitation requirements, and disbursement processes. It also seeks to promote transparency, accountability, and efficient delivery of public services.

Through this initiative, the LGU continues to encourage cooperation and active participation among taxpayers, business owners, and constituents in building a more responsive, safe, and progressive municipality.

The Office of the Municipal Treasurer extends its gratitude to all participants and partner agencies for their continued support and cooperation.
