Puerto Princesa City proudly welcomed delegates from the Department of Agriculture – MIMAROPA, the National Organic Agriculture Program (NOAP), and the League of Organic Agriculture Municipalities, Cities, and Provinces of the Philippines (LOAMCP-PH) for a benchmarking activity held at Gintong Butil Agri Farm last March 12, 2026.

Among those present were Hon. Mayor Roselyn Asok (Maria, Siquijor), Hon. Mayor Ruel Molina (Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur), Hon. Mayor Filadelfo Jess Baja III (Garcia Hernandez, Bohol), Hon. Mayor Webster Letargo (Gumaca, Quezon), Hon. Mayor Solomon Vicencio (Catubig, Northern Samar), Hon. Mayor Christian Daniel B. Diamante (Tuburan, Cebu), and NOAP Director Bernadette F. San Juan, CESO II, together with their Municipal Agriculturists, MPDPs, and Organic Agriculture Focal Persons.

The visit aimed to share knowledge and best practices in sustainable and natural farming and seed production, which they may adopt and implement in their respective local government units to further strengthen the agriculture sector.
