CAMP BGEN EFIGENIO C. NAVARRO, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro โ Acting Regional Director PBGEN Christopher R. Dela Cruz underscored the values of leadership, accountability, and public trust as he administered the oath-taking and donning of ranks of two newly promoted Police Lieutenant Colonels during the Simultaneous Oath-Taking and Donning of Ranks Ceremony held at Hinirang Hall, Regional Headquarters Building, on June 15, 2026.
Promoted under the 2nd Quarter CY 2026 Police Lieutenant Colonel Continuous Promotion Program were PLTCOL Dhenies S. Acosta and PLTCOL Roel A. Tattao, whose advancement reflects years of dedicated service, professional competence, and commitment to the mission of the Philippine National Police.
The ceremony served not only as recognition of professional achievement but also as a reminder that higher rank carries greater responsibility to lead, inspire, and uphold the highest standards of public service.
In his message, PBGEN Dela Cruz emphasized that promotion is not merely an acknowledgment of past accomplishments but a renewed commitment to excellence, integrity, and servant leadership.
โPromotion is not a rewardโit is a call to greater service. Every rank earned carries with it a higher expectation to lead with integrity, make sound decisions, and remain accountable to the people we are sworn to serve,โ PBGEN Dela Cruz said.
The Acting Regional Director reminded the newly promoted officers that leadership is measured not by authority or position, but by character, example, and the ability to inspire trust among subordinates and the communities they serve.
โThe rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel is more than a symbol of authority. It is a symbol of trust. It reflects the confidence of the organization in your ability to lead with character, uphold the rule of law, and make a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve,โ PBGEN Dela Cruz emphasized.
The MIMAROPA Top Cop likewise encouraged the newly promoted officers to embrace their expanded responsibilities with humility, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to ethical leadership.
Guided by its F.I.G.H.T. C.R.I.M.E.S. Framework, PRO MIMAROPA remains committed to building a culture of leadership excellence, accountability, and service-oriented policing by empowering personnel who exemplify professionalism, integrity, and dedication to duty.
