Pinangunahan ni DOLE Secretary Francis N. Tolentino ang konsultasyon kasama ang mga kinatawan ng mga probinsya, congressional districts, at party-list groups upang matiyak na ang panukalang badyet ng DOLE ay tumutugon sa aktuwal na pangangailangan ng mga manggagawa at komunidad.

The Philippines secured the endorsement of ASEAN Labour Ministers for four key documents developed during its 2026 ASEAN Chairship, which advance regional cooperation on worker protection, decent work, and stronger labor systems.

The four outcome documents cover labor market and social resilience, fair and ethical recruitment, occupational safety and health (OSH) in the informal sector, and labor inspection in the fishing sector. The measures aim to strengthen worker protection amid changing labor market conditions, promote fair recruitment, and improve safety and labor standards in sectors where workers face greater risks.
