Rehabilitees Sending-Off Ceremony
On April 1, 2026, a Sending-Off Ceremony for rehabilitees was held at Tamaraw Hall, Provincial Capitol Complex, Calapan City. The activity was organized by the Oriental Mindoro Rehabilitation and Recovery Center to celebrate the successful completion of the participantsโ six-month rehabilitation program.
The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of the rehabilitees, symbolizing not only the end of their structured recovery program but also the beginning of their renewed journey toward personal growth, sustained recovery, and reintegration into their respective communities.
The ceremony was attended by various stakeholders and invited guests, including SPPO Ivan D. Loisaga, Officer-in-Charge of the Calapan City Parole and Probation Office, who graced the occasion and delivered a special message to the rehabilitees. In his speech, SPPO/OIC Loisaga commended the participants for their perseverance, discipline, and courage throughout the rehabilitation process. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong support system, making responsible life choices, and staying committed to their recovery goals despite the challenges they may face outside the facility.
Furthermore, he encouraged the rehabilitees to become agents of positive change in their communities, inspiring others through their transformation and serving as living proof that recovery is possible with determination and support.
The activity concluded with a sense of hope and optimism, as the rehabilitees were formally sent off, equipped with the tools, values, and renewed mindset necessary to rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to society.
