PNPAAAI MIMAROPA Chapter joins PRO MIMAROPA in bringing “Pamaskong Handog” to Mangyan Community in Baco
BACO, ORIENTAL MINDORO — Christmas cheer and the true spirit of bayanihan filled Brgy. Sta. Rosa I, Baco as members of the PNPAAAI MIMAROPA Chapter actively joined the PRO MIMAROPA-led “Pamaskong Handog” for the Mangyan community, delivering hope, care, and meaningful support to indigenous families on Friday, December 12, 2025.
The activity was spearheaded by PBGEN JOVENCIO S BADUA JR., Regional Director, PRO MIMAROPA; PCOL SIMEON L GANE JR., Chief, RCADD; PCOL EDISON V REVITA, PNPAAAI MIMAROPA Chapter President and ORIENTAL MINDORO PPO Provincial Director; and PLTCOL MARY CRYSTAL PERALTA, OIC, RHSU and PRO MIMAROPA Spokesperson, together with personnel from the RMFB, PNP-SAF, RCS, and AFP, in collaboration with the barangay officials of Brgy. Sta. Rosa I.
“Ang serbisyo ng pulis ay hindi lang pagpapatupad ng batas—ito ay malasakit na nararamdaman ng tao, lalo na ng mga komunidad na higit na nangangailangan,” said PBGEN BADUA.
“Ngayong Kapaskuhan, pinipili nating maging instrumento ng pag-asa at pagkakaisa—kasama ang ating mga kapatid na Mangyan,” he added.
More than a gift-giving activity, the outreach underscored PRO MIMAROPA’s continuing commitment—strengthened by the support of PNPAAAI MIMAROPA—to deepen community partnership, respond to basic needs, and promote health, education, safety, and respect for the Mangyan people’s rich culture, anchored on service that is felt where it matters most.
“Ang aktibidad na ito ay paalala na ang tunay na bayanihan ay nasusukat sa tuloy-tuloy na pagkalinga at paggalang—hindi lamang tuwing Pasko, kundi sa araw-araw. Kaisa ninyo ang PNPAAAI MIMAROPA sa pagsusulong ng mas inklusibo at mas maunlad na pamayanan,” said PCOL REVITA in a statement.
This Christmas season, PRO MIMAROPA and the PNPAAAI MIMAROPA Chapter stand with our Mangyan brothers and sisters—handog ang ligaya, malasakit, at pag-asa para sa mas inklusibo at mas maunlad na pamayanan.
