BFAR - 7 Central Visayas Multi-Species Nursery Demo & Training Center CVMNDTC is a Technology Outreach Station of BFAR 7. of milkfish as well as maintenance of milkfish and grouper (Epinephelus sp.) broodstocks.

Central Visayas Multi-Species Nursery Demonstration & Training Center covers 36 hectares of brackishwater pond and 1 hectare for supporting facilities and structures. The main focus of the center is nursery rearing of selected species such as Chanos chanos (milkfish - bangus), Siganus guttatus (orange-spotted spinefoot rabbitfish - ketong) and pompano. The center also demonstrates feasibility of m

arketable-sized production of milkfish, rabbitfish, pacific white shrimp (Liptopenneaus vannamei), blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus); value-adding/fish processing (deboning, bottling, etc..)

Under this arrangement, offices covered by the policy will operate four days per week with extended working hours to ensure continued delivery of services.

Meanwhile, offices that provide essential, frontline services requiring continuous operations, such as the Technology Outreach Stations, Quarantine Stations, and Legislated Hatcheries, will maintain a skeleton workforce to keep their normal work schedules and ensure uninterrupted public service.
