𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗦: 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

In 2025, the Province of Pangasinan recorded 44,654 registered live births, including births that both occurred and were registered during the year, as well as delayed registrations of births from previous years. This represents a decline of 4,226 registrations, or 8.6 percent, compared with the 48,880 registered live births recorded in 2024.

The number of constructions from approved building permits in Pangasinan reached 446 in January 2026. This indicates an annual decrease of 11.2 percent from the 502 total number of constructions in January 2025.

READ | PSA leads renewed push for inclusive, resilient civil registration as Palace extends CRVS Decade until 2030

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) welcomes Presidential Proclamation No. 1339, which extends the implementation of the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Decade in the country until 2030.

Signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on 06 July 2026, the proclamation identifies the PSA as the lead agency for implementing CRVS programs.

As the PSA continues to strengthen the country's civil registration and vital statistics system, this proclamation reaffirms its commitment to building an inclusive, resilient, and future-ready framework that ensures every Filipino has access to legal identity and responsive vital statistics services—leaving no one behind.

In observance of National Disability Rights Week, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Pangasinan Provincial Statistical Office, in partnership with the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) of Alaminos City, conducted National ID frontline services from 01 to 04 July 2026. A similar initiative was carried out in partnership with the PDAO of Sta. Barbara from 16 to 17 July 2026.

The initiative aimed to provide accessible and inclusive National ID services to persons with disabilities (PWDs), ensuring their convenient access to a government-issued proof of identity without the need to travel long distances. During the activity, registration personnel facilitated National ID registration, updating of demographic information, and the issuance of National ID Printed-in-Paper.

PSA Pangasinan is conducting National ID and Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) Mobile Registration, along with SECPA Awarding to BRAP beneficiaries.

Together with the City Civil Registry Office of Alaminos, the activity aims to promote inclusive identification services and raise awareness of identity rights.
