COMELEC, NAGBIGAY-BABALA SA MGA KAKANDIDATO SA BSKE 2026 KAUGNAY NG PAGGAMIT NG PONDO NG BARANGAY AT MAAGANG PANGANGAMPANYA

Nagbigay-babala ang Commission on Elections sa mga kakandidato sa darating na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) 2026 na mahigpit nitong babantayan ang paggamit ng mga kagamitan at pondo ng barangay, kabilang ang mga sasakyan ng pamahalaan, dahil maaari itong maituring na abuse of state resources at maging dahilan ng diskwalipikasyon.

Bukod dito, ipinagbabawal din ang pamimigay ng anumang uri ng ayuda sampung araw bago ang halalan, maliban sa burial assistance.

Ayon kay George Erwin Garcia, hindi papayagan ng komisyon ang paggamit ng pondo o resources ng pamahalaan para lamang mapaboran ang ilang kandidato. Hinikayat din nito ang mga tatakbo na bantayan at ireport sa Comelec ang mga paglabag ng kanilang mga kalaban upang agad na maaksyunan, makasuhan, at madiskwalipika ang mga ito.

Dagdag pa ng Comelec, sa oras na makapaghain ng kandidatura para sa BSKE mula Setyembre 28 hanggang Oktubre 5, 2026, awtomatiko nang ituturing na kandidato ang mga naghain dahil manual ang gagamiting sistema ng eleksyon.

Dahil dito, ipinagbabawal ang pangangampanya mula Oktubre 6 hanggang 21, kabilang ang paglalagay ng posters, pamimigay ng anumang bagay, at iba pang aktibidad na maituturing na pangangampanya. In a world wounded by war, sin, and fear, Heaven opened itself and Mary came not to condemn, but to lovingly remind humanity of what truly brings healing and peace: God, prayer, repentance, and conversion of heart.
