Postponement of the Suspension of Classes on Monday, Feb. 09, 2026.

Initially it was suspended for clearing and assessment of the buildings post calamity. But since there was no significant impact TC. Basyang has done to Calatrava CLASSES WILL RESUME on Monday, Feb. 09, 2026.

This is due to the anticipated Heavy to Intense rainfall. Please expect floods at flood prone areas and even on not flood prone areas and landslides. Especially to the UPLAND Barangays who are experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall at the moment.

The Province of Negros Occidental is currently on RED ALERT.

The MDRRMO Council and the 40 Barangay Captains will be having a Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment Meeting tomorrow in preparation for Tropical Cyclone “Basyang”

All Barangay DRRM is also expected to be activated in preparation for the Tropical Cyclone “Basyang”

CLASS SUSPENSION on the following dates:
1. FRIDAY, February 06, 2026- Brace for Impact of TC “Basyang”
2. MONDAY, February 09, 2026- Inspection and Assessment day of structures.

Your safety is our priority, but we also need you to be aware, prepared and guided accordingly. Please cooperate as we do our best to ensure your safety during in times of Calamity.
