CLASSROOM-BASED SIGHT SAVING MONTH CELEBRATION 2026πŸ’š
DepEd Tinambulan Elementary School

β€œSee Clearly, Live Fully: Promoting Early Screening and Better Eye Health”

Every August, the Philippines observes Sight Saving Month, an advocacy that promotes awareness of proper eye care, early screening, and the prevention of avoidable blindness.

Tinambulan Elementary School joins the celebration by conducting classroom-based activities that help our learners understand the importance of caring for their eyes. Teachers facilitated discussions on eye health, proper eye care, the importance of early screening, and ways to prevent and deal with blurred vision.

Through these activities, our learners are reminded that healthy eyes are essential to reading, writing, learning, playing, and appreciating the world around us. Simple daily habits and proper eye care can help protect our vision and support better learning.
