September 20, 2025 is the National Coastal Clean up Day, with its theme: " Clean seas against the climate crises". This global event is the largest volunteer effort for ocean and waterway protection, where people remove and record trash from coastal areas to identify and address the marine debris crises.

The Local Government Unit of Calbayog through the City Environment and Natural Resources Office, CHRMO, CTIO and LYDO, spearheaded the said activity here in our city.

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office celebrates Earth Day 2025 with this year's theme "OUR POWER, OUR PLANET", which calls for collective efforts to transition to renewable energy and combat climate change.
This is an annual celebration since 1970 on April 22 that raises awareness of the need to protect Earth's natural resources for future generation.

CENRO spearheaded a simultaneous Tree Growing activity in Brgy. Amampacang to Brgy. Longsob. Brgy. Officials, residents,and SAT SUN group participated in the said activity.
