The BFP Fire Prevention Monitors assigned to the Municipality of Almagro, Samar, conducted Talakayan sa Pamayanan and Damayan sa Kapitbahayan: Public Fire Education and Fire Incident Simulation Exercises for the residents of Barangay San Isidro, Almagro, Samar.
This activity, in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office led by Dennis N Tomamak, MDRRM Officer, aimed to strengthen fire safety awareness, enhance preparedness, and equip the community with proper response actions during fire emergencies through interactive discussion and simulation exercises.

Additionally, fire safety tip flyers were distributed to reinforce the key points discussed and further enhance fire safety awareness among the participants.

LOOK || JOINT CPOC,CADAC,CTF-ELCAC 3RD QUARTER MEETING

This morning, SFO2 Wenifreda M Catalan, Deputy City Fire Marshal together with SFO1 Roy B Marquez, Chief Investigation and Intelligence Unit, attended the Joint City Peace and Order Council (CPOC), City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), and City Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (CTF-ELCAC) 3rd Quarter Meeting. The meeting was held at the Engineering Conference Room, Calbayog City Hall Compound, Calbayog City.

During the meeting, SFO2 Catalan presented updates on the recent activities and accomplishments of the Calbayog City Fire Station. Her report highlighted the station’s continued efforts in fire prevention, disaster preparedness, and community safety initiatives, underscoring the crucial role of the BFP in promoting peace, order, and resilience in the city.

This morning, BFP Calbayog City personnel, led by SFO2 Wenifreda M Catalan, Deputy City Fire Marshal, attended the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony at the Calbayog City Hall Quadrangle. Thereafter, a short program was conducted in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, during which SFO2 Catalan participated in the signing of the commitment on the Commitment Wall.

Subsequently, troop information dissemination and an attendance check were conducted at the station’s apparatus area. A turnover of duties and responsibilities from the outgoing Shift B to the incoming Shift A Operations personnel was also carried out.
