Valenzuela City โ€” The Northern Police District (NPD), under the leadership of PBGEN BENLINER L CAPILI, District Director, through the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), arrested a 50-year-old male wanted person by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violations of Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, at about 11:15 AM on September 3, 2026, along A. NCRPO ARRESTS REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON IN VALENZUELA MANHUNT OPERATION

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) scored another significant accomplishment in its intensified manhunt operations with the arrest of a 50โ€‘yearโ€‘old male wanted for multiple counts of violation of Republic Act No. 9262 in Valenzuela City on September 3, 2026.

At around 11:15 AM, operatives of the Northern Police Districtโ€“District Special Operations Unit, together with personnel from the Regional Intelligence Unitโ€“NCR, located and arrested the accused along A. Pablo Street, Barangay Maysan, Valenzuela City. The suspect is listed as the No. 8 Regional-Level Top Most Wanted Person of the Northern Police District, No. 6 at the district level, and No. 6 at the station level of the Valenzuela City Police Station for September 2026.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant for four counts of Section 5(A), two counts of Section 5(B), and one count of Section 5(H) under RA 9262. The warrant indicated recommended bail of โ‚ฑ2,000 for each Section 5(A) count and โ‚ฑ72,000 for the Section 5(H) count, while no bail was recommended for the two Section 5(B) counts.

Following the arrest, the accused was brought to Valenzuela Medical City for medical and physical examination before being taken to the operating unit for documentation and subsequent turnover to the appropriate custodial facility. The return of the warrant is being prepared for submission to the issuing court.

PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano, Officerโ€‘inโ€‘Charge of the NCRPO, emphasized that the operation reflects the continuing responsibility of police units to ensure that persons wanted by the courts are brought before the justice system. He stated that a warrant does not lose its force simply because the person named in it has remained beyond the reach of the court, and that NCRPO will continue closing that distanceโ€”locating wanted persons, serving lawful warrants, and bringing them before the proper judicial process. He added that this arrest demonstrates what sustained coordination and determined police work are expected to deliver.
