NPD-DMFB Promotes Youth Awareness and Crime Prevention

On September 3, 2026, at about 10:00 AM, under the leadership of PLTCOL JACK E ANGOG, OIC, DMFB, PCpl Marivic B Perez and Pat Luisa Mae C Manuel, CAS PNCOs, under the supervision of PMAJ MARK B FLORES, 1st PSC Commander, conducted a Community Engagement Activity in observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) with the theme, “Strengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities,” for the students of Panghulo Elementary School, Malabon City.

The activity focused on the Anti-Bullying, Crime Prevention, and Disaster Preparedness. Flyers were also distributed to reinforce key safety messages.

The initiative aimed to empower students with knowledge, foster discipline, and encourage them to actively participate in building a safer and more responsible community.

Building Safer Communities Through Youth Engagement

On September 3, 2026, at about 11:00 AM, under the leadership of PLTCOL JACK E ANGOG, OIC, DMFB, personnel of the 2nd Public Safety Company (PSC), led by Pat Bayron T Afunay, CAS PNCO, under the supervision of PMAJ ROEL R SISON, 2nd PSC Commander, in coordination with Imam Ryyan Angni, conducted a Community Engagement Activity in observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) with the theme, “Strengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities,” at Ma'had Norol Yaqeen Litahfidil QurAn AlKareem, Brgy. 186, Saint Joseph Avenue, Caloocan City.

The activity was attended by 20 Madrasah students and featured lectures on the Unified 911 Emergency Hotline, Anti-Bullying, Crime Prevention, and Disaster Preparedness, along with the distribution of safety tips flyers.

The activity aimed to promote safety awareness, discipline, and preparedness, while encouraging the students to become responsible and proactive members of the community and contribute to building safer communities.

Strengthening Community Awareness and Empowerment

In observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) with the theme, “Strengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities,”, under the leadership of PLTCOL JACK E ANGOG, OIC, DMFB, PMAJ MARK B FLORES, 1st PSC Commander, together with PCpl Marivic B Perez, CAS PNCO, conducted a Community Engagement Activity for the residents of Barangay 78, Caloocan City.

The activity featured a lecture on crime prevention, distribution of informational flyers and emergency hotlines, livelihood training on dishwashing liquid making, and provision of snacks to the participants.

The initiative aimed to strengthen community awareness, encourage collective action, and empower families toward safer and more resilient communities.

On September 3, 2026, at about 11:00 AM, PLTCOL JACK E ANGOG, Officer-in-Charge, DMFB, attended the Launching of the Enhanced Interagency Engagement for At-Risk Sectors in Caloocan City (EIEARS) held at Estrada Court, Phase 2, Barangay 176-B, Caloocan City.

The activity commenced with the registration and seating of participants, followed by the invocation, singing of the Philippine National Anthem through an AVP, and acknowledgment of guests and participating agencies.

The program included the Opening Remarks emphasizing strengthened interagency coordination in addressing the concerns of at-risk sectors, followed by an AVP presentation on the EIEARS program, its objectives, and implementation in Caloocan City.

Messages of Support were delivered by MGEN GREGORIO B HERNANDEZ JR., PN(M), Commander, NCRCOM; PCOL FLORIAN D. REYNADO, Chief, DCADD, representing the District Director, NPD; and DIR. OLYMPIA D MICOR, Director, PCUP-NCR, highlighting the importance of interagency cooperation and sustained support for vulnerable sectors.

The Message of Commitment and Support of Hon. DALE GONZALO “ALONG” R MALAPITAN, City Mayor of Caloocan City, was read by his representative, expressing the City Government’s commitment to the objectives of EIEARS and continued collaboration with partner agencies.

The activity featured the Ceremonial Launching and Signing of the Commitment of Support, symbolizing the collective commitment of participating agencies and stakeholders to provide responsive and coordinated interventions for at-risk sectors.

The activity concluded with a photo opportunity, after which the Master of Ceremonies formally declared the program concluded at approximately 12:00 NN

The District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), Northern Police District, conducted its Weekly Meeting, at the DTOC War Room, NPD Headquarters, presided over by PLTCOL JACK E ANGOG, OIC, DMFB. The activity was attended by PMAJ RANDY L TULALI, Assistant Force Commander, together with Battalion Section Chiefs, Company Commanders, FESPO, and key PNCOs.

The meeting focused on operational updates, personnel accountability, community engagement, and the continued implementation of the Pulis sa Paaralan Program, with DMFB personnel currently deployed in schools across the CAMANAVA area.

The Battalion also discussed upcoming deployments, training and personnel development, public safety initiatives, crime prevention activities, and actionable measures to further strengthen police operations and service delivery.

Through regular coordination, accountability, and responsive policing, DMFB remains committed to delivering fast, honest, and felt public service to the community.

In support of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) Celebration, the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), under the leadership of PLTCOL JACK E ANGOG, OIC, DMFB, through its Public Safety Companies, conducted the hanging of NCPW tarpaulins in front of their respective Public Safety Companies Forward Bases located in Caloocan City and Valenzuela City.

The activity highlights the DMFB’s commitment to promoting crime prevention awareness and strengthening collective action and community partnership toward safer and more secure communities.
