- Judgmental or condemning
- Gossipy or spreading rumors
- Attacking, insulting, or tearing down other religions

Instead, they should be humble, respectful, loving, compassionate, and Christlike in character.

Freedom of Expression with Fairness and Respect

We all have the right to express our thoughts, opinions, and convictions. Freedom of speech is a valuable privilege, but it also comes with the responsibility to speak with fairness, wisdom, and respect.

Before criticizing others, let us examine our own motives. Avoid being biased or taking sides. If you choose to voice your opinion, strive to be objective and fair to everyone. Do not put others down in order to elevate yourself, nor use your words to embarrass or humiliate anyone.

Whatever your political color or personal preference may be, let justice, integrity, and truth guide your words. If you cannot remain fair and impartial, it may be wiser not to engage in political debates than to allow personal bias to overshadow truth and respect.

A True Life Story!

Nais kong ibahagi kung paano kami inakay ng Diyos sa pananampalataya. Kami noon ay mga Romano Katoliko at mangingisda sa Southern Leyte. Noong matutuhan namin ang katotohanan tungkol sa Sabbath, hindi na namin tinapos ang lahat ng aralin—agad kaming nagpabautismo. Ngunit dahil pangingisda ang aming kabuhayan, patuloy pa rin kaming nakakakuha at nakakakain ng mga pagkaing hindi malinis, lalo na ang pusit na paborito ko talaga. Gayunman, patuloy kaming sumasamba at naglilingkod bilang pamilya.

Pagkaraan ng panahon, sinalanta ng malakas na bagyo ang aming kabuhayan, kaya napilitan kaming lumipat sa hanap-buhay ng pag ko-kopra. Sa pagbabagong ito, unti-unting binago ng Diyos ang aming lifestyle. Doon ko napagtanto: na may panukala ang Diyos sa bawat mananampalataya. Hindi laging biglaan ang pagbabago—inaakay tayo ng Diyos nang dahan-dahan. Hindi mahalaga kung gaano kabilis ang simula, kundi kung gaano tayo nagpapatuloy nang tapat.

Mga Kapatid: Kung naghahanda ka para sa bautismo ngunit may mga kinakaharap pang kahinaan, huwag panghinaan ng loob. Ang bautismo ay hindi tanda ng pagiging perpekto—ito ay pagpili na lumakad kasama ang Diyos na Siya ring magpapasakdal sa iyo sa Kanyang takdang panahon.
