The Northern Police District (NPD) secured the top spot in the Districtwide Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for the month of March 2024. Under the visionary leadership of PBGEN RIZALITO G GAPAS, District Director, the NPD achieved an impressive rating of 97.55%, showcasing commitment to excellence in service and dedication to duty.

The PNP Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) System serves as a beacon of accountability and transparency within the Philippine National Police (PNP). Designed as a standardized evaluation tool, it offers a comprehensive assessment of the performance of various PNP offices and units across the nation. Through meticulous analysis of performance targets and accomplishments, the UPER System quantifies and qualifies achievements, assigning measurable parameters with corresponding point allocations.

PBGEN GAPAS extends his heartfelt congratulations to the dedicated personnel of the NPD whose unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have propelled the district to this remarkable achievement. PBGEN RIZALITO G GAPAS, District Director, Northern Police District (NPD), lauded the effort of Valenzuela City Police Station under the supervision of PCOL SALVADOR S DESTURA JR, Chief of Police.
At about 12:30 PM on February 27, 2024, at Blk. 17, Lot 2, M. Delos Reyes Street, Lupang Sinilangan, Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City, in line with the Chief PNP's 5-focused agenda "Aggressive & Honest Law Enforcement Operations", Joint operatives of Warrant and Subpoena Section of Valenzuela CPS and Northern NCR Maritime Police Station, Navotas City served a Warrant of Arrest that resulted in the successful arrest of the accused.
The accused was identified as one male and the warrant of arrest was issued by HON. MATEO B ALTAREJOS, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court Branch 16, Valenzuela City dated February 26, 2024, for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness under the RPC in rel. to Sec. 5(b) as amended by R.A. 11648 – The Anti-Rape Law of 1997.
Disposition: The arrested accused was brought to Valenzuela City Health Department for medical examination and subsequently turned over at the Custodial Facility Unit of VCPS.
