Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region, and 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐘 𝐋 𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, City Fire Marshal, with the supervision of 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐉𝐘𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐂 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍̃𝐎, Deputy City Fire Marshal and 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐌 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎, Acting Chief, Operations Section, personnel of BFP Caloocan conducted Fire Truck Visibility (FTV) and Hydrant Testing within their respective areas of responsibility.

The activity was conducted to ensure the operational readiness of fire trucks and verify the serviceability and water pressure of fire hydrants, strengthening the station’s preparedness and ensuring a prompt response during fire emergencies.

Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region, and 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐘 𝐋 𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, City Fire Marshal, with the supervision of 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗝𝗬𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗖 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡̃𝗢, Deputy City Fire Marshal, 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗠 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢, Acting Chief, Operations Section, the Malaria Fire Sub-Station (2112E), led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐀𝐧𝐣𝐨 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨𝐧 together with 𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨, 𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐲 𝐒 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐬, and 𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐀𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐐 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐚, responded to a request for assistance from Barangay 185 officials regarding a retrieval operation. Upon arriving at the incident site—located approximately 800 meters from the station—the crew was briefed on the situation by local barangay officials.

The incident stemmed from ongoing heavy rains that triggered a localized landslide, completely submerging a residential structure in deep mud. Although the disaster was initially reported to the Caloocan City DRRMO following an ocular inspection, active search and retrieval operations had to be temporarily suspended due to hazardous weather conditions and continuous rainfall. Assistance was formally re-requested to resume the mission alongside CDRRMO personnel, who deployed a specialized Life Detector on-site.

During the joint operation, CDRRMO teams successfully pinpointed the exact location of the buried victim, a 53-year-old male. Responders immediately initiated manual extraction procedures, utilizing shovels, pickaxes, and a jackhammer to break through the heavy debris and thick layer of mud covering the structure.
The coordinated incident response was supported by radio dispatchers 𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐄𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 and 𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐋 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨

Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region, and 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐘 𝐋 𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, City Fire Marshal, with the supervision of 𝗙𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗝𝗬𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗖 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡̃𝗢, Deputy City Fire Marshal, 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐌 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎, Acting Chief, Operations Section, EMS Caloocan headed by Acting Chief 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐟𝐨 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐚, responded to an emergency call regarding an unresponsive individual at Barangay 93, Caloocan City.

Upon arriving at the scene, responders located a female individual, approximately 60 years old, lying in a supine position on a bed inside a guard house.

A security guard at the scene provided history, noting that the individual had a prior medical history of a mild stroke.

The companion reported that she was last seen active earlier in the evening before being discovered unconscious and cold to the touch. During the initial assessment, the individual was found completely unresponsive to both verbal and painful stimuli, presenting with no pulse, no signs of respiration, dilated and non-reactive pupils, and cold skin.

Despite the presence of these definitive clinical indicators, the crew immediately initiated Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in an effort to restore vital functions.

High-quality chest compressions were performed; however, the patient failed to achieve a return of spontaneous circulation.

Resuscitation efforts were subsequently terminated following the lack of response.

The scene was secured, and crew members coordinated directly with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and local Barangay officials for the official handling and declaration procedures.

The individual was left in the care of the attending authorities on scene, and the unit returned to base without further incident.

This proactive efforts ensured community safety and minimized risk, highlighting the critical role of first responders during local emergencies.

Sa pamumuno ni 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director ng BFP–National Capital Region, at 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐘 𝐋 𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, City Fire Marshal, at sa pangangasiwa nina 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐉𝐘𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐂 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐈Ñ𝐎, Deputy City Fire Marshal, 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐋𝐘𝐙𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐄𝐍 𝐂 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐋, Chief, Fire Prevention Section, at 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐌 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎, Acting Chief, Operations Section, nagsagawa ang North City Hall Fire Sub-Station (2110Tanker), sa pangunguna ni 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 𝐂 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐒, ng Fire Safety Seminar at Drill sa South East-Asia Institute of Trade and Technology – Caloocan Branch, Barangay 177.

Layunin ng aktibidad na mapalakas ang kaalaman at kahandaan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani sa pag-iwas at pagtugon sa sunog. Binigyang-diin ang wastong paggamit ng fire extinguisher, tamang evacuation procedures, at maagap na pagkilos sa oras ng emergency.

Sa pamamagitan ng regular na fire safety seminar at drill, higit na napapalakas ang disiplina, kooperasyon, at kahandaan ng buong paaralan para sa mas ligtas na learning environment.
