Balikbayan Build-Up is a three-track program jointly initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region IV-A – Quezon Provincial Office through Negosyo Center Candelaria and the LGU Candelaria – OFW Help Desk, in partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Region IV-A. As part of the initiative, the program includes a two-day entrepreneurship seminar designed to equip Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families with foundational knowledge in starting and managing a business.
Track 1 entitled From Remittance to ENterprise is structured into four (4) core modules:
Module 1: Bagong Simula: Paglinang ng Entrepreneurial Mindset
Focuses on developing the right mindset for entrepreneurship, including resilience, opportunity-seeking behavior, and goal setting.
Module 2: Financial Smart: Paghahanda at Pamamahala ng Puhunan
Covers basic financial literacy, capital preparation, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Module 3: Plano Mo, Negosyo Mo: Mga Batayang Hakbang sa Pagplano ng Negosyo
Introduces essential steps in business planning, including market identification, product development, and simple business models.
Module 4: Handa at Legal: Simula ng Matatag na Negosyo
Provides guidance on business registration, permits, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Sino ang eligible na magregister?
1. Active OFW (on vacation)
2. OFW's Next of Kin / Immediate Family
3. OFW Returnees (na hindi lalampas sa 3 taon na nakabalik na sa Bayan ng Candelaria)
