Vacation is almost over; classes are opening soon!

In preparation for the new school year, we encourage our parents, learners, and stakeholders to participate in the Brigada Eskwela 2025.
The activity will start on June 9, 2025, and end on June 13, 2025.

"Vision coupled with action is reality."

It has been a vision of Cogtong ES to rebuild the school canteen after Typhoon Odette unleashed its wrath years ago.

Rebuilding the structure would not only mean raising funds which the school can use in initiating another yet impactful projects but more importantly for the safety and security of the learners.

With the leadership of the School Principal, Mrs. Ayleen D. Zaportiza and the PTA President, Mrs. Janeth Deacamos, the dream has turned into reality.

Today, on October 28, 2024, Fr. Adolfo Dagohoy, Parish Priest of Cogtong, initiates the blessing of the new school canteen, invoking God's graces and guidance in its operation.

With deepest gratitude, CoES acknowledges the efforts of all the persons who have contributed to the success of this event.

Indeed, together we can go forward.

Cogtong Elementary School celebrates the World Teachers' Day on October 4, 2024.

To give tribute to all 14 teachers of Cogtong ES who serve as inspirations. role models, and second mothers to every learner, the SELG headed by its President Mary Thea Illery Salas holds a short yet memorable program for everyone.

Indeed, it was a "HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY" for all teachers. More than the gifts and tokens received, it was the fulfillment felt seeing every learner honors their teachers and recognizing their hard work and sacrifices in building resilient, competitive and productive human resource in the future.

Cogtong Elementary School is very thankful and appreciative to the individuals who had extended their generosity and support to the school.

Today, a new playground is now officially owned by the school as the Turn-Over Ceremony of Playground Apparatus is held.

Spearheading the cutting of ribbon was our Honorable Mayor Thamar C. Olaivar together with the Barangay Captain Jaime E. Libay, the OIC of CoES, Ma'am Ma. Nila O. Estapia and BOD President, Ma'am Janeth Deacamos.

The new facility will serve as a venue for learning and exploration of our learners as play has a crucial role in a child's holistic development.

CoES kicks-off Brigada Eskwela 2024

July 23, 2024 - Cogtong Elementary School launched the Brigada Eskwela '24 at 8:00 in the morning.

Following a route, the short parade around Purok 5 was done. A small program had also taken place as teachers and volunteers were safely back to the venue.

"Brigad Eskwela is a yearly activity of DepEd to prepare the school for the new school year", said the School Principal, Maria Gina T. Magalona. She also expressed her profound gratitude to everyone who has participated in the said event.

As ordered by the Department of Education, the Brigada Eskwela '24 will last on July 27, 2024 to ensure a clean and safe learning environment for the children as the new school year commences on July 29, 2024.
