Five (5) participants from various resorts, tourist sites and LGU personnel in the Municipality of Mabini took part in the trainingโ€”aiming to provide knowledge, strengthen their capability to respond to water-related emergencies and promote safety in their respective areas.

These trained lifeguards serve as valuable partners of CGS Eastern Bohol in maintaining the safety of beachgoers and acting as initial responders during emergencies, especially during the expected influx of visitors.

CGS Eastern Bohol extends its heartfelt appreciation to all partner agencies, the Local Government of Mabini, and the participants for the unwavering commitment to ensure a safer coastline for all.

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’: Coast Guard Station Eastern Bohol through CGSS Talibon and neighboring sub-station personnel, in collaboration with LGU Talibon, Bantay-Dagat and MDRRM Talibon, BFP and PNP Talibon, provided safety and security assistance and sea marshalling during the fluvial procession in the municipal waters of Talibon, today, 29 June 2026.

The procession, in honor of the ๐…๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ฆ๐š ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐๐š๐ formed part of the townโ€™s annual fiesta celebration which was organized by Most Holy Trinity Cathedral Parish that gathered around 800 devotees onboard more or less 80 motorbancas that sailed in unity and devotion.

๐ˆ๐‚๐˜๐Œ๐ˆ: In line with the heightened influx of beachgoers during Summer Vacation 2026, Coast Guard Station Eastern Bohol, in collaboration with the LGU of Anda, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Barangay Officials of Brgy. Suba, successfully conducted a simultaneous Coastal Clean-Up Activity along the shoreline Brgy. Suba and Quinale Beach Bar, Poblacion, Anda, Bohol on 23 May 2026.

This activity underscores the vital importance of protecting and preserving the coastal environment to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and long-term sustainability of beaches for both local residents and visiting tourists. The regular conduct of PFT plays a vital role in keeping CGSEB personnel physically fit and fully prepared to fulfill their duties in support of the organizationโ€™s mission and operational effectiveness.

In addition, the Cogtong Barangay Health Worker (BHW) provided assistance in the preliminary health assessments and helped ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the activity.
