Pamper Day for CHO & CEEDMO Employees

In celebration of Civil Service Month, the employees of the City Health Office (CHO) and City Economic Enterprise and Development Management Office (CEEDMO) were treated to a Rejuvenation Program on September 17, 2026.

They enjoyed therapeutic massage and foot spa, a well‑deserved wellness break recognizing their invaluable contributions to the effective delivery of public services.

This initiative reflects the City Government’s commitment to caring for its workforce — because healthy, happy employees mean stronger service to the community.

CSOs Attend Committee Hearing on the Proposed CSO Desk and FCSOCC Ordinance

Candon City — Officers and members of the Federation of Civil Society Organizations of Candon City (FCSOCC), led by Ms. Mary Grace Gamboa, attended the Committee Hearing of the Sangguniang Panlungsod on the proposed CSO Desk and FCSOCC Ordinance.

The hearing was presided over by SPM Nestor Itchon.

The proposed legislation seeks to institutionalize the CSO Desk and the FCSOCC, thereby establishing a stronger partnership between civil society organizations and the local government unit of Candon City. It also provides mechanisms for capacity development, support, and technical assistance.

The hearing was likewise attended by CLGOO Manuel Dumagpi and CSO Desk Officer-Designate Grace Llanes Ramos.

This milestone was made possible through the support of City Mayor Eric D. Singson and the City Council, under the leadership of VM Kristelle Singson.

The initiative reflects the City Government's continuing commitment to the welfare of its constituents by providing CSOs a platform for shared partnership in local governance.
