FLOOD MONITORING AND SITUATIONAL ASSESSMENT

During the ongoing heavy rainfall, the Barangay Officials of Barangay San Nicolas conducted roving and monitoring activities within their respective sectors to check and assess the current situation of residents and affected areas.

This monitoring was conducted in compliance with the directive of the DSWD, particularly the instruction for the Barangay Secretary to document and report all flooded houses and affected households, including taking photographs as supporting documentation.

Barangay Officials personally went around their assigned areas to monitor the water level, identify houses affected by flooding, and take necessary photographs for proper documentation and reporting.

At the time of monitoring, heavy rain was still continuously pouring, and some areas were still experiencing floodwaters. The Barangay Officials continued to monitor the situation closely and remained ready to coordinate with the concerned offices should further assistance or emergency response be needed.

The safety and welfare of our constituents remain our priority. Continuous monitoring and proper documentation are being undertaken to ensure that the situation on the ground is accurately reported and that affected families can be properly identified for appropriate assistance.

🌿 Another week, another step toward a cleaner and greener Sitio 7! πŸ’š

Today, our community once again joined forces for our weekly clean-up drive. We cut overgrown grass, cleared fallen leaves along the roadside, and pruned trees to keep our roads safe, clean, and pleasant for everyone.

This activity was made possible through the teamwork and dedication of our Sitio Tanods and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), who willingly volunteered their time and effort for the benefit of the community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated. Your commitment proves that when we work together, we can create a healthier, safer, and more beautiful place to live.

β€œClean surroundings reflect a caring and united community.” 🌱
