Personnel of Candon CPS under the supervision of PLTCOL RODEL C DEL CASTILLO, Chief of Police conducted barangay visitation in Brgy. Bagani Gabor and Brgy. Patpata 2nd , Candon City. During the activity, the personnel disseminated information on the campaign against terrorism, the implementation of curfew hours, guidelines on Safer Cities, and various crime prevention and safety tips.
The activity aimed to enhance public awareness, encourage community participation, and strengthen efforts to maintain peace and order and ensure public safety.

In line with the Training on Enhancing the Capacities of Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams and the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week, on September 5, 2026 at about 1:30 PM-4:30 PM, PLT JOVELYN R ANTALAN, PCAD PCO of Candon City Police Station, under the supervision of PLTCOL RODEL C DEL CASTILLO, Chief of Police, conducted a lecture on Crime Prevention and Public Safety in partnership with the School of Criminal Justice Education (SCJE) of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College–Main Campus.

The activity was attended by the Barangay Officials and Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) members of Barangay Bugnay, Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

The activity aimed to enhance the participants’ awareness and understanding of the different types of crimes, as well as the importance of crime prevention and community participation in maintaining peace and public safety.

San Juan, Candon City, Ilocos Sur, regarding the current peace and order situation and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Criminality Campaign.

The activity aimed to strengthen community awareness and participation in crime prevention efforts, encourage the timely reporting of suspicious activities, and foster stronger cooperation between the police and the transport sector in maintaining peace, order, and public safety within the community.
