MAYOR RUIZ JOINS CPSU CANDONI CAMPUS INTRAMURALS AND 1ST FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

Mayor Engr. Ray R. Ruiz attended the opening ceremony of the CPSU Candoni Campus Intramurals 2026 and its 1st Founding Anniversary on August 24, 2026, at the CPSU Covered Court.

The activity was led by Campus Administrator Dr. Juno E. Pajarillo, with Dr. Michelle Ledesma-Palata serving as keynote speaker and sharing meaningful insights with students and participants.

Running from August 24 to 28, 2026, the celebration features various sports, cultural, and academic competitions aimed at fostering unity, teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence. Anchored on the theme, β€œ20 Years of Service, One Founding Celebration: CPSU-Candoni in Unity, Culture, Sports, and Academic Excellence,” the event reflects the campus’s continuing commitment to holistic education and community development.

Mayor Ruiz’s presence reaffirmed the Municipal Government of Candoni’s continued support for education, youth development, sports, and academic excellence.

FIRST COORDINATION MEETING FOR CIVIL SERVICE MONTH 2026

The Municipal Government of Candoni, under the leadership of Mayor Engr. Ray R. Ruiz, conducted its First Coordination Meeting with the municipal department heads and representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) in preparation for the upcoming Civil Service Month Celebration in September 2026.

The meeting was led by Ms. Rose Ann T. Noble of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) on August 19, 2026, at the Mayor’s Office Function Hall.

The activity focused on initial plans, proposed activities, and essential coordination to ensure a meaningful and successful celebration.

BAYANIHAN RUN PROCEEDS FORMALLY TURNED OVER TO OUR LADY OF LOURDES PARISH

As part of the celebration of Candoni’s 65th Town Anniversary and 91st Tabla Valley Settlement Commemoration, the Municipal Government of Candoni, under the leadership of Mayor Engr. Ray R. Ruiz, formally turned over the proceeds of the Candoni Bayanihan Run 2026 to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish on August 17, 2026, at the Office of the Mayor.

Mayor Ruiz led the turnover of β‚±24,350.00 to Rev. Fr. Sabiniano M. Pinsoy, Jr., Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. The amount was generated from the registration fees of 487 runners who joined the Bayanihan Run held in connection with the municipality’s anniversary celebration.

More than promoting health and wellness, the activity embodied the true spirit of bayanihan, unity, and shared purpose, reflecting the anniversary theme, β€œPaghiusa. Paghanduraw. Pag-uswag.”

The Municipal Government of Candoni extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who participated and supported the activity, helping transform the celebration into a meaningful gesture of solidarity and community giving.
