Ready na ta para sa Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT)

Municipality of Cantilan LGU Cantilan - Local Youth Development Office and Local Youth Development Officer and Staff are fully accredited as Training Managers for the Mandatory Training of SK Officials and LYDC Members.

Our application for accreditation duly endorsed by Mayor Philip A. Pichay was confirmed through an official Resolution passed by the National Youth Commission.

Conduct of SKMT is mandated by the law before all elected and appointed officials of SK, including all the LYDC members can assume their positions and begin working on their duties and functions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Republic of Indonesia through the National Youth Commission (NYC) and will organize the ASEAN Youth Dialogue (AYD) 2023 on Digital Development for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on April 4-5, 2023 via Video Conference and on April 10-14, 2023 face to face event in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The ASEAN Youth Dialogue (AYD) 2023 on Digital Development for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to achieve the following objectives:
a. To provide a dialogue platform for the youth representatives in the ASEAN region and identify solutions for the challenges and unlock their potential in digital opportunities, entrepreneurship and implementation of the SDGs; and to
b. To explore possible ways of cooperation and collaboration to strengthen partnerships for youth empowerment.

The NYC will be nominating 4 Filipino youth delegates (2 male and 2 female) to attend the event.

Qualifications of Youth Delegates:
β€’ Fully vaccinated (with 1st and 2nd dose with at least 1 booster shot) Filipino citizen currently residing in the Philippines;
β€’ Single, 18-30 years old;
β€’ Applicant must have a background on Computer Science, Social Sciences, Entrepreneurship and other related fields;
β€’ Currently residing and working in the Philippine based company/ agency;
β€’ For students, they must be officially enrolled in any Philippine based University or College taking the abovementioned courses and other related fields;
β€’ Has a good command of written and spoken English;
β€’ With valid Philippine passport valid until December 15, 2023;
β€’ With PSA-issued birth certificate issued within the year of 2023;
β€’ Must be able to attend & participate during the whole duration of the program (Video Conference) and in actual event in Jakarta, Indonesia;
β€’ Must be able to attend the pre-departure orientation in NYC Central Office, Quezon City a day before schedule departure;
β€’ Must be willing to be an NYC volunteer and to comply with post-program activities.

Requirements:

β€’ Scanned copy of Passport valid until December 15, 2023 (upload via google form)
β€’ Scanned copy of PSA-issued birth certificate (upload via google form)
β€’ Scanned copy of Vaccination Card/ Vaccination Certificate from Department of Health (DOH) or Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ)
β€’ Updated Curriculum Vitae (upload via google form)
β€’ Proof or Certificate of Enrollment for Student Applicant in Business Management and Business Technology Courses/ Proof or Certificate of Employment for Employed Applicants in Business Management and Business Technology Courses/ Information Technology Sectors

Expenses:
β€’ The Organizer will shoulder the accommodation, roundtrip economy airfare, inland transportation going to Jakarta, Indonesia.
β€’ Delegates will shoulder their travel expenses from their residence (province) to NAIA and back, as well as their accommodation in Quezon City for the pre-departure briefing in NYC Central Office, travel insurance, medical and other expenses while on travel.

The following are automatically disqualified:
β€’ Participants of NYC-coordinated international programs from April 14, 2018 until the present whose airfare, accommodation, and meals were paid for by the organizer;
β€’ Participants of NYC-coordinated international programs from April 14, 2021 until the present whose airfare was shouldered by the participants and whose accommodation and meals were paid for by the organizer;
β€’ Previous NYC International Programs Beneficiaries who have not submitted or accomplished the required post-program obligations and not completed and rendered volunteer work.
β€’ Incomplete requirements or follow up requirements sent through email would not be entertained once passed deadline.

All Youth and Youth-Serving Organizations may register to the LGU Cantilan Local Youth Development Office and be assisted for the registration to the National Youth Commission’s Youth Organization Registration Program.

Requirements:
a. Accomplished Youth Official Registration Form – A4, Hard and softcopy (in word file)*
b. Directory of officers and adviser – A4, Hard and softcopy (in word file)*
c. List of members in good standing – A4, Hard and softcopy (in excel file)*
d. Copy of constitution and by-laws, which should indicate the age and scope of membership; and*
e. Endorsement or certification from appropriate authority (please read Resolution No. 52, Article I, Section. 6.)

βœ“ Certification of registration or recognition from any head/pastor of congregation or parish priest

β€’ For Organizations Established or Founded with the Assistance of Government Agencies, Offices and Instrumentalities
βœ“ Certification of registration or recognition from the government agency, office or instrumentality

To expedite the process of verification, the following documents may also be submitted:

Process:
1. Secure, fill out forms and checklist of requirements.
2. Submit requirements to LGU Cantilan Local Youth Development Office.
3. LYDO personnel will review and validate the submitted documents.
4. Wait for the issuance schedule of the Certificate.
5. Receive the Certification of Registration.
6. Sign the logbook.
