SCHOOL-BASED CLASS SUSPENSION
August 25, 2026 (Tuesday).

1. The School Head may suspend in-person classes based on prevailing conditions and the safety of learners and school personnel.

2. Parents and legal guardian may also decide whether their children should attend school. Such decision shall be respected by the school.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the President dated August 17, 2026 and in consideration of the prevailing and forecasted weather conditions, the following shall be observed in the Municipality of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur:

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

Classes at all levels in public schools in the Municipality of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur shall be SUSPENDED on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

PUBLIC OFFICES

Government offices shall remain open and shall continue their regular operations.

However, the final decision regarding the suspension of work in public offices shall be made on August 18, 2026, taking into consideration the actual weather conditions, safety situation, accessibility and other prevailing circumstances at the time.

The public is advised to remain vigilant, closely monitor official weather and government advisories and prioritize safety at all times.
