It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗔𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻 today.

Ma'am Alma was a key official in our local government, and we value her years of service and leadership for the people of Capas.

On behalf of the municipality, I extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the Ayson family, her loved ones, and her colleagues during this difficult time. We pray for her eternal repose and for strength for everyone she left behind.

12 June 2026--- The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀 has officially passed the 𝗖𝗬 2025 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗚𝗙𝗛) 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, as announced by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Tarlac Provincial Office.

Capas joins the Provincial Government of Tarlac and all 19 component local government units (LGUs) in achieving a perfect 100% passing rate for the province. The GFH designation recognizes the 𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀.

Frontline services will remain operational on Fridays, with appropriate staffing arrangements to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of taxpayer services such as taxpayer registration, filing, payment assistance, and inquiries.
