The New Clark City Aquatics Center proudly hosted the Philippine Aquatics Inc. Short Course National Championships from October 2–4, marking the official culmination of the 2026 second-half short course swimming season.

Bringing together approximately 700 of the country's top swimmers (ages 11 and above) across 17 regions, the championship highlighted the highest level of athletic competition in the nation.

We extend our warm congratulations to all participating athletes, medalists, and delegations. Together, BCDA and Philippine Aquatics Inc. remain dedicated to building world-class sports facilities and fostering the next generation of Filipino champions.

Please be advised that temporary road closures will be in effect from October 05, 2026 to November 20, 2026, due to ongoing underground utility construction.

Affected Areas:
• Portions of Romulo Blvd., Romulo Dr., and Pueblo St.
• Sections along Narra Ave. (near the Athletics Stadium and Corpuz Ave.)

Rerouting & Travel Tips:
• Use One Clark Blvd., Green Boulevard North, or Grand Civic Blvd. to reach Filinvest, SCTEX, or the Clark Freeport Zone.
• Watch for road barricades and follow directional signages.

First earned in 2019, this distinction guarantees that our venue continues to meet the strictest international technical requirements for premier global competitions.

World Athletics, founded in 1912 as the IAAF, is the global governing body for track and field, road running, and athletics, representing over 200 member federations and setting the highest standards for athletic facilities worldwide.

From our debut hosting the 30th SEA Games to welcoming future champions, New Clark City remains steadfast in driving Philippine sports forward on the world stage.
