๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐'๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ, ๐๐ญ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ข๐, ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฌ, ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐๐ - Major General Ronel R. Manalo PA, Commander of the Armor Division, Philippine Army, formally received Brigadier General Hubert S. Acierto PA, Commander of the Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army, during his official visit to the Home of the Mounted Warriors on August 26, 2026.
Upon arrival, Brigadier General Acierto was accorded company-sized military honors. He was welcomed by Colonel Francis D. Balan PA, Chief of Staff, Armor Division, alongside the Division's staff officers. The visit was formally marked with the ceremonial signing of the guest book at Armor Division Headquarters.
During the courtesy call and executive session, Major General Manalo and Brigadier General Acierto exchanged insights and best practices, and discussed matters of mutual interest - with the goal of strengthening cooperation, enhancing interoperability, and advancing the operational capabilities of both units.
Brigadier General Acierto then took part in a joyride and live firing of the Division's Remote-Controlled Weapon System (RCWS), gaining firsthand appreciation of the Armor Division's modern capabilities and operational readiness. He also toured the Armor Division Museum - learning about the unit's history, traditions, and accomplishments; and the Light Tanks Maintenance Facility - observing equipment maintenance and sustainment capabilities.
The visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between the Armor Division and the Artillery Regiment, as well as their shared commitment to supporting the Philippine Army's transformation into a modern, capable, and responsive force.
