FORMER CTG MEMBER VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERS TO NUEVA ECIJA POLICE, TURNS IN FI***RM

ZARAGOZA, NUEVA ECIJA — Joint police elements successfully facilitated the voluntary surrender of a former Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) member on Thursday morning, October 8, 2026, at Brgy. Carmen, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija.

The surrenderer was formerly associated with the Josefino Corpuz Command under the dismantled KLG Sierra Madre, having been recruited into the movement in 1997 by Elizabeth Principe, alias "Ka Baby.“

At approximately 11:30 AM, the surrenderer formally laid down his arms at the headquarters of the 2nd Maneuver Platoon, 1st PMFC, NEPPO. As part of his surrender, he turned over one (1) caliber .38 revolver without visible serial markings, along with four (4) pieces of live caliber .38 am******on.

The coordinated operation was led by the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st PMFC, NEPPO), in close coordination with the Zaragoza Municipal Police Station (MPS), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU-NEPPO), and the Provincial Intelligence Team Nueva Ecija–Regional Intelligence Unit 3 (PIT NE-RIU3).

The surrender marks another key step in local peacebuilding efforts aimed at encouraging former rebels to lay down their arms and reintegrate into mainstream society.

"This success reflects the strong collaboration within Joint Regional Task Force 3 (JRTF 3) and Police Regional Office 3’s (PRO 3) steadfast commitment to bringing former rebels back into the fold of the law," said Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez, Regional Director of PRO 3 and Chairperson of the RTF-ELCAC 3 Technical Working Group. "Through active local engagement and strategic peace initiatives, our campaign for lasting peace in Central Luzon continues to gain momentum. PRO 3 and JRTF 3 remain firm in their commitment to protecting local communities and sustaining regional peace and security efforts."

FORMER AMBALA ORGANIZER WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM UNDERGROUND GROUPS, SURRENDERS FI***RM IN TARLAC CITY

TARLAC CITY, TARLAC — Police operatives in Tarlac, led by the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st PMFC, TPPO) under the leadership of Force Commander PLTCOL Julius Caesar D. Noveno, successfully facilitated the formal withdrawal of support from a former organizer and recruiter for an underground movement on Thursday afternoon, October 8, 2026.

The individual previously served as a recruiter and organizer for the Alyansa ng mga Manggagawang Bukid ng Asyenda Luisita (AMBALA), which she joined in 2003 and left in 2018.

At approximately 4:25 PM, the individual personally reported to the 1st PMFC Headquarters at Camp Gen. Francisco Macabulos, Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City, to officially turn her back on Communist Terrorist Groups (CTG) and Underground Mass Organizations (UGMO). As part of her surrender, she turned over one (1) unit of an unmarked homemade sh***un, which is now in police custody for proper disposition.

The operation was led by the 1st PMFC, TPPO (Lead Unit), Tarlac City Police Station, Muntinlupa City Police Station, and DMFB SPD NCRPO jointly carried out the operation.

Before her formal surrender, PNP personnel, together with Pastor Mike Ocampo under the community-faith partnership program KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan), conducted outreach visits to encourage Santiago to cut ties with underground movements and support peace and government initiatives.

On October 09, 2026, at about 08:54 AM, personnel of Capas Municipal Police Station led by PCpl Alex Yumul, Patroller, under the leadership of PLTCOL REYNOLD B MACABITAS, COP, Capas MPS, visited at the Masjid Baitul Mukarram at Brgy. Cristo Rey, Capas, Tarlac during their routine patrol operations within the area. This initiative aims to foster genuine trust, respect, and collaboration between the Philippine National Police and the Muslim populace through faith-based engagement, cultural sensitivity, and proactive community participation.

On October 8, 2026, personnel of Capas Municipal Police Station, led by PLT EUGENE N BUMANGLAG, Operation PCO and PSSg Bryan Angelo C Canlas, Asst MCAD PNCO under the supervision of PLTCOL REYNOLD B MACABITAS, Chief of Police conducted School Coordination with Mam Karen Pesigan Osorio, School Principal of Benigno S Aquino Jr Elementary School and distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on crime prevention at Brgy Estrada , Capas, Tarlac.
The activity aimed to raise public awareness on crime prevention and safety measures, strengthen police-community partnership, and encourage residents to actively participate in maintaining peace and order.

2nd PMFC, Bulacan Police Facilitate Fi***rm Surrender Under EO 70 Initiatives

PANDI, BULACAN — October 6, 2026 — In continuing support of Executive Order No. 70 and the government’s Whole-of-Nation Approach to end local communist armed conflict, joint security forces successfully facilitated the voluntary surrender of an unlicensed fi***rm in Pandi, Bulacan, on Tuesday.

An intelligence-driven community engagement led by personnel of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd PMFC), under the leadership of Force Commander PLTCOL Karl Marlo S. Sanchez, resulted in a former member of KADAMAY voluntarily surrendering an unmarked, unnumbered .38 caliber revolver at Pandi Village 2, Atlantica, Brgy. Mapulang Lupa. The operational breakthrough was achieved through sustained visitation, monitoring, and proactive dialogue with local surrenderers.
