"Greetings!

The Negosyo Center Program Management Office (NC-PMO), in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the City Government of Mandaluyong, will be conducting the Accounting for Non-Accountants Batch 7 Program for MSMEs. This eight-day hybrid program will be held every Tuesday, starting April 8, 2025, 12:00 - 2:30 PM.

The seminar series aims to equip MSMEs with practical knowledge of essential accounting principles, including business transactions, journalizing and posting, adjusting entries, and completing the accounting cycle for both service and merchandising businesses. The sessions will also cover topics on special journals, internal control for cash, petty cash management, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and income and business tax compliance. Led by expert Resource Speakers, the program will provide participants with insights that MSMEs can immediately apply to their business operations. Attached is the project brief.

The DTI Leyte thru its Negosyo Center Capoocan conducted a Skills Training on Calamansi Products Making for Women's Organization in Capoocan, Leyte last August 8, 2024.
The activity was made successful through the help and support of our DTI Leyte Provincial Director, Ma'am Araceli D. Larraga; DTI Leyte BDD Chief, Sir Pedro Bimbo Tan; Municipal Mayor, Atty. Fe Claire Carolino-Paragatos and NCC/MGADH-1/PESO Mngr, Ma’am Annavic H. Petallana.
Ma'am Avelina P. Virrey, the resource person, trained 30 women's organization members in making calamansi juice, calamansi concentrate and calamansi muffin.
Special thanks also to Kristelle Jane Tuano and NCBC Carigara, Ms. Jessica L. Morales for their assistance to NCBC Capoocan, Ms. Nauvy O. Quilaquil.
