The Indigent Uplift Payout is currently being conducted at the Municipal Plaza, Barangay 3, Capul, Northern Samar, led by the DSWD Field Office VIII, with the support and assistance of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Capul.

This activity aims to provide timely financial assistance and support to qualified indigent beneficiaries in the municipality. 🤝

The DSWD Regional Office VIII, in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Capul, is currently conducting the Walang Gutom – UPLIFT Payout today, August 11, 2026, at the Municipal Plaza, Barangay 3, Capul, Northern Samar.

The activity aims to provide assistance to qualified beneficiaries through the Walang Gutom Program – UPLIFT, helping support their food security, nutritional needs, and overall well-being. 💚

The MSWDO and LGU Capul extend their appreciation to the DSWD Regional Office VIII for the continued partnership and support in bringing essential assistance closer to the people of Capul.

📍 Barangay Visitation | August 4, 2026

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Capul conducted a Barangay Visitation across the Municipality's 12 barangays on August 4, 2026, bringing essential social welfare services closer to the community.

During the activity, the team distributed assistive devices to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) who were recommended by their respective PWD Chapter Presidents, as well as educational materials to Learners with Special Needs, to support their mobility, learning, and overall well-being.

The team also visited our beloved bedridden senior citizens, personally checking on their condition, extending care and encouragement, and reaffirming the Local Government Unit's commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind.

Through initiatives like these, the MSWDO remains committed to promoting inclusive, compassionate, and people-centered public service for every resident of the Municipality of Capul.
