Congratulations to 𝐍𝐞𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐣𝐞𝐲 𝐒. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 for being awarded as 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 at the 1𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘸𝘪𝘮 𝘊𝘶𝘱 held at Bicol University-Legazpi, July 18 – 19, 2026.

The two-time Bicol Meet athlete clinched five gold medals in the 200-meter Individual Medley, 100-meter Butterfly, 200-meter Freestyle, 100-meter Freestyle, and 50-meter Butterfly. Antonio was unstoppable as he also bagged another three bronzes in the 50-meter Breaststroke, 50-meter Backstroke, and 50-meter Freestyle to complete an eight-medal haul in the class AB category of the event, organized by the Legazpi City Stingrays Swim Club.

Our 12-year-old champ is a seventh grader at Tubli National High School and a product of the island's haven of outstanding young swimmers – Tubli Elementary School.

Trained by his father, Neo Sahjey spends at least an hour a day after school, training including Saturdays and Sundays.

"Pag oras ning training, training talaga. Magsunod sana sa igataram nin coach tapos mag practice uro-ardaw," he shared, stressing that consistency and discipline are keys to success.

Neo Sahjey is described by his friends as a shy-type student, yet highly focused and determined in the pool.

The entire Tubli National High School community is beaming with pride as one of its alumni, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗥. 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗲, completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Education, major in Physical Education and Sports (PhD PES) from Adamson University, Ermita, Manila, earlier today. This achievement is even more remarkable as Dr. Dalipe graduated with a 1.15 General Weighted Average.

Our alumnus is a product of Mabini Elementary School, graduating as Sixth Honors in 2009. Four years later, he completed his secondary education as First Honors at Tubli National High School. His pursuit of excellence continued after another four years when he graduated 𝘤𝘶𝘮 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘦 with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health from Catanduanes State University-Main Campus. The Caramoranon pride advanced his academic journey and went on to complete his Master of Arts in Physical Education with a GWA of 1.23 from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Recreation, Bicol University-Legaspi in 2020.

Today, Dr. Dalipe is among the ten graduates of the PhD in Education major in Physical Education and Sports from one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

When asked about his message for Tubli National High School students, he reflected on what he went through after years of academic pursuit: "An mangarap dai pong bayad - libre lang mangarap. Alagad an paggibo kan mga pangarap na yan na magin totoo nangangaipo nin hiro."

"Pirme mong girumdumon an mga tawo na nagsuporta saimo sa saimong agi, asin maghingoha na magdakula duman mismo sa kun sain ka pigtanom nin Dios," the 29-year-old PhD holder shared what achieving great things truly means.

Dr. Dalipe is a testament to the school's vision of producing individuals who value not only academic excellence but also meaningful contributions to the community.
