PUBLIC ADVISORY | Updated Work Schedule at the Local Government Unit of Carasi

The Local Government Unit of Carasi will begin implementing a four-day on-site work schedule in accordance with Executive Order No. RGG-09-2026, signed by Mayor Robella G. Gaspar.

This adjustment is in line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President, which directs government agencies to adopt measures aimed at conserving energy.

Under the new schedule, office operations will run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, while Fridays will be observed as a non-working day.

Personnel delivering essential services—including health services, disaster response, security, and those assigned to tourism areas—will continue with their regular schedules to ensure that critical services remain uninterrupted.

The public is kindly advised to take note of the revised office hours when planning their visits and transactions with LGU offices.

4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)

The Municipality of Carasi, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), successfully conducted the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at the Municipal Building.

The activity was actively participated by Hon. Robella G. Gaspar, Municipal Mayor, together with municipal employees and office personnel, as they practiced the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and emergency evacuation drills.

This initiative underscores the commitment of the Local Government of Carasi to promote disaster preparedness and community resilience
