Sangguniang Kabataan of Baranggay Tuyom in collaboration with CLL Music Studio and Crystal Decade Weddings and Events Presents:
TUYOM POPULAR SONG WRITING COMPETITION SEASON 2
Theme: "Where Tourism and Culture Shines, The People Shines"
This competition is open to all Carcaranons, regardless of age.
Entries must focus on the tourism, culture, people, and unique identity of Brgy. Tuyom.
Songs may be written in Cebuano, Filipino, English, or a combination of these languages.
Each participant or group may submit only one (1) original composition.
The song must be original and unpublished. It must not have been used in any previous competition.
Participants may join individually or as a group, with a maximum of five (5) members per group.
The duration of the song must be between three (3) and five (5) minutes.
Entries must include the following:
- Song lyrics in line with the theme
- Audio or video recording of the song
- Participant's full name and contact information
The organizers reserve the right to use the winning songs for promotional and tourism-related activities of Brgy. Tuyom.
All entries must be submitted on or before August 25, 2026.
Criteria for Judging
Relevance to the theme – 40%
Originality and creativity – 25%
Melody and musicality – 20%
Impact and message – 15%
Total: 100%
Prizes
Champion – 10,000.00
1st Runner-up – 7,000.00
2nd Runner-up – 5,000.00
Note: The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
