TODAY IS THE DAY! ESSAY WRITING & POSTER MAKING COMPETITIONS

Calling all creative Loweranon Youth! Let's get the arts and minds active in the Essay Writing and Poster Making contests happening TODAY, August 16, 2026!

EVENT DETAILS
Venue: Lower Natimao-an Covered Court
Time: 1:00 PM SHARP (Call time: Be at the venue by 12:45 PM for verification & briefing)
Duration: Strictly 4 Hours Max
Official Theme: “Kilos Loweranon: United in Grit, Talent, and Teamwork.”

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR PARTICIPANTS
ID Verification & Registration: Bring a valid ID or document. All participants must fill out the validation form provided on-site.

Materials Provided:
Essay Writing: Official paper and pens will be provided. (No names allowed; use your participant number).
Poster Making: Standard illustration board, drawing pencil, eraser, and official drawing pen will be provided.

What to Bring: Poster making contenders MUST bring their own coloring materials (oil pastel, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencils, etc.).
Strict Rules: No pre-drawn templates, 3D elements, or digital tools allowed. Essays can be in English, Filipino, or Cebuano (300–800 words), using a single language throughout.
Briefing: A unified briefing will happen right before we start. Latecomers and walk-in participants may still join, but no time extensions will be given.

STEPPING BACK ONTO THE COURT | SK Loweranon SportsFest 2026

After a brief pause, we are ready to step back onto the court. The SK Loweranon Sports Fest 2026 games will officially resume tomorrow.

Please note that tomorrow’s schedule will feature Basketball matches only, with Volleyball and the rest of the games resuming the following week.

Let us play with heart, integrity, and deep respect for the teammate whose spirit we carry with us. Keep safe, and see you all at the court.

PAUSING THE GAMES IN LOVING MEMORY

It is with heavy hearts that we inform the entire Loweranon community of the sudden passing of one of our beloved players and youth athletes.

In light of this tragic loss, and out of respect for the bereaved family and our grieving community, all SK Loweranon Sports Fest 2026 games and scheduled matches are postponed until further notice.

We ask for your understanding, prayers, and support for the family during this extremely difficult time. Further updates regarding the resumption of the games will be posted in due course.

Rest in peace. You will always be remembered on and off the court.
