Carmen, Cotabato โThe Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Municipal Office of Carmen conducted a consultation meeting on May 28, 2026, in connection with the implementation of the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project. The meeting was attended by PARPO II Evangeline Bueno, together with CARPO for LTID Leah Ortega and members of the Field Validation Team (FVT).
The discussion focused on the implementation processes involving the three (3) "big lots" targeted under the SPLIT Project in the Municipality of Carmen, namely: the Benigno Alcoser, et al. landholding covering 580.0500 hectares; the Maludtem Malaguia, et al. landholding covering 1,004.4738 hectares; and the Malaguia Demacocom, et al. landholding covering 1,045.3938 hectares.
The consultation meeting served as a venue to discuss updates, field validation activities, operational concerns, and other matters essential to the effective implementation of the project. The SPLIT Project aims to improve land tenure security of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) through the subdivision of Collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CCLOAs) into individual land titles, thereby strengthening property rights and promoting agricultural productivity and rural development.
Through continuous coordination and collaboration among concerned offices and stakeholders, DAR remains committed to ensuring the efficient and timely implementation of the SPLIT Project in support of the Department's mandate of equitable land distribution and sustainable rural development.
