📢 Kibudtungan Central Elementary School Successfully Conducts the 1st Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) General Assembly School Year 2026–2027

Kibudtungan Central Elementary School successfully held its 1st Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) General Assembly for the School Year 2026–2027, highlighting the importance of strong collaboration between the school and the parents in fostering quality education for every learner.

The program commenced with the presentation of the Financial Report and Accomplishment Report by the incumbent PTA President and Treasurer, providing parents and stakeholders with a transparent account of the association's accomplishments and financial status.

A significant part of the assembly was the election of the new set of PTA Officers, followed by their Oath-Taking Ceremony, marking the beginning of another year of dedicated service and leadership in support of the school's programs and initiatives.

One of the highlights of the gathering was the presentation of the KCES Learner Handbook by Sir King E. Penkian, Master Teacher I, who discussed the school's policies, rules, regulations, and expectations to help parents and learners better understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe, disciplined, and learner-centered school environment.

The assembly concluded with an inspiring message from Ma'am Rebecca B. Ocampo, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) and Concurrent School Head, who reiterated the Department of Education's No Collection Policy, emphasizing that Kibudtungan Central Elementary School remains fully compliant with this mandate. She also shared the latest DepEd policies, programs, and updates to keep parents informed and aligned with the school's direction toward providing quality, inclusive, and accessible education.

The success of this assembly reflects the unwavering commitment of the school, parents, and stakeholders to work hand in hand in achieving the best learning outcomes for every KCES learner.

Knives Von E. Bano Tops Grade 6 Spelling Contest at Division English Festival

Knives Von E. Bano placed first in the Grade 6 Spelling Competition during the Division Level English Festival of Talents held at Nicaan Central Elementary School on January 30, 2026. Bano emerged on top among participants from 17 municipalities across the division.

According to Knives, discipline and perseverance played a major role in his success. “I am very thankful for the guidance of my coach and for the time we spent reviewing, even during weekends. All our hard work paid off,” he said.

He was trained by his adviser King E. Penkian, EdD who stressed that preparation was key to the victory. Penkian shared that their training included regular reviews and weekend sessions at school, noting that consistent effort led to the positive result.

The achievement highlights the importance of commitment and effective coaching in academic competitions.
