28 July 2026 - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) โ Cavite, represented by Division Chief Rexel B. Amparo, actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) Meeting of the City of Carmona, held at the LEDIPO Conference Room, Carmona City Hall, following the notice of meeting issued by LPCC Chairperson, City Mayor Dr. Dahlia B. Loyola.
The meeting focused on the reconstitution of the City of Carmona LPCC, as well as updates on the monitoring and reporting of the prices and supply of rice, fuel, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The Council also discussed initiatives to further improve the conduct of price monitoring, including the proposed participation of barangay officials to broaden monitoring coverage and support the implementation of the Council's activities at the barangay level.
DTI Cavite continues to support inter-agency coordination and local initiatives aimed at strengthening local price monitoring and consumer protection efforts.
