CASIGURAN MPS ARRESTS WANTED PERSON IN JOINT LOCALIZED PNP OPLAN GALUGAD

Casiguran Aurora – On September 2, 2026, at about 9:00AM, a joint localized PNP OPLAN GALUGAD under TIP Control No.I-2026-006-PRO3-APPO-CAS MPS was conducted at Barangay Calabgan, Casiguran Aurora. Operational intelligence confirmed the presence of the subject person. The arresting officers visually identified the suspect and immediately executed the warrant of arrest against the accused by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest under criminal case no. 2026-09-0280 DN for Violation of section 68 of P.D. 705 as amended with Php60,000.00 bail recommended, issued by HON. PACITO MEDINA PINEDA JR, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 101, Casiguran Aurora dated September 1, 2026. Alternative Recording Devices (ARDs) were utilized throughout the operation and accused was informed of his constitutional rights upon arrest. The subject arrested person was brought to Dinalungan MPS for custody, documentation and proper disposition.

On September 2, 2026, personnel of the Casiguran Municipal Police Station, led by PLT BERNADETH R. LEANDER, Admin/CAD PCO, under the supervision of PMAJ EDGARDO L. JAVAR, Chief of Police, conducted a School Visitation, Coordination, and Dialogue with Mrs. Linette Dolores, School Principal of Esperanza Elementary School.

The activity aimed to strengthen coordination and partnership between the police and the school administration, particularly in promoting a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment for students, teachers, and school personnel.

During the dialogue, matters concerning school safety and security, crime prevention, and the importance of maintaining open communication between the school and the police were discussed. The activity also provided an opportunity to identify possible concerns and explore appropriate measures to ensure the protection and welfare of the school community.

Casiguran MPS remains committed to strengthening its partnership with educational institutions and other stakeholders in preventing crime, safeguarding our learners, and promoting peace and order within the community.

On September 2, 2026, personnel of the Casiguran Municipal Police Station, led by PLT BERNADETH R. LEANDER, Admin/CAD PCO, under the supervision of PMAJ EDGARDO L. JAVAR, Chief of Police, conducted a radio program at Radyo Kawadi 100.7 FM, β€œPulis Ko, Kasurog Ko,” held at Brgy. 02 Poblacion, Casiguran, Aurora.

The radio program focused on the observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week, highlighting the importance of community participation and collective responsibility in preventing crime and maintaining peace and order.

The discussion also featured practical Crime Prevention Tips to help listeners become more vigilant and aware of potential threats in their homes, workplaces, and communities. Likewise, timely Bagyo at Baha Safety Tips were shared to guide the public on proper preparedness and safety measures before, during, and after severe weather conditions.

Through this radio program, Casiguran MPS continues to strengthen its partnership with the community by providing relevant information, promoting public awareness, and encouraging everyone to actively contribute to a safer and more secure municipality.

On September 1, 2026, at about 7:50 AM onwards, personnel of Casiguran Municipal Police Station, led by PLT BERNADETH R. LEANDER, Admin/CAD Officer, under the supervision of PMAJ EDGARDO L. JAVAR, Chief of Police, conducted the regular Police Information and Continuing Education (PICE) and Personnel Accounting at the station grounds, Brgy. 07 Poblacion, Casiguran, Aurora.

The activity provided an avenue for police personnel to receive important updates, review existing policies and directives, and discuss administrative and operational matters relevant to their duties and responsibilities.

It likewise emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, professionalism, readiness, and accountability in maintaining an effective and efficient police organization. Through continuous learning and proper personnel accounting, every member of the station is encouraged to remain prepared and committed in performing their respective responsibilities.

Casiguran MPS remains steadfast in strengthening the capabilities of its personnel and ensuring the delivery of efficient, responsive, and people-centered police services in support of peace, order, and public safety.
