On August 22, 2026 at about 7:50AM at Sitio Camansian, Brgy. Poblacion, San Pascual, Batangas. Personnel of Catanauan Municipal Police Station led by PSMS Jonjon L Pordan, conducted an operation against wanted person which resulted in the arrest of the aforementioned accused by virtue of Bench Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide (RPC ART 365), under criminal case no. 563-23, dated September 20, 2024, issued by Presiding Judge, MTC, Catanauan, Quezon, with PHp2,000.00 bail recommended and same was recorded with the use of ARD.

The accused was apprised of his constitutional rights prior to the service of WOA under RA 7438.

The Arrested person was brought to Catanauan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and documentation.

This operation symbolized the intention and dedication of Hon. Atty Ramon A Orfanel, Municipal Mayor and the local police to have a safe and peaceful Catanauan.

Nagsagawa ng buy-bust operation laban sa ilegal na droga (shabu) ang Municipal Drug Enforcement Team (MDET) ng Catanauan MPS sa Pangunguna ni 𝐏𝐌𝐀𝐉 𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐒 𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐀, 𝐂𝐎𝐏 at sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa PDEA (sa ilalim ng coordination no. 4-00-08172026-033) noong Agosto 18, 2026, bandang 2:35 ng Umaga sa Brgy. Matandang Sabang Kanluran, Catanauan Quezon.

Sa naturang operasyon, naaresto ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Violation of Section 5, and 11, Article II of RA 9165 na nagresulta sa pag-aresto sa suspek at pagkumpiska sa mga sumusunod na ebidensya:

Tatlong (3) piraso ng transparent na plastic sachet na selyado sa pamamagitan ng init (heat-sealed) at naglalaman ng puting kristal na substance na pinaghihinalaang shabu, na may tinatayang timbang na 0.81 gramo at Standard Drug Price (SDP) na nagkakahalaga ng Php5,508.00 ,

Isang (1) piraso ng tunay na limang daang pisong papel na may serial number na CG9232789 (buy-bust money).

“Ang Matagumpay na Operasyong ito, ay nagpapatunay lang na pursigido at seryoso ang Pamahalaang Lokal sa Pangunguna ni 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐀 𝐎𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥, 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 na sugpuin ang paglaganap ng Ilegal na Droga dito sa bayan ng Catanauan, katuwang ang mga diterminadong Kapulisan sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kaligtasan ng mga mamamayan.”

WALANG PASOK sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Catanauan ngayong Agosto 18, 2026.

Ang suspensyon ng klase ay alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng ating Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) dahil sa epekto ng Habagat.

Pinapayuhan ang mga paraalan na magkaroon ng ASYNCHRONOUS learning modality.

Samantalang ang mga pampublikong tanggapan sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng bayan ng Catanauan ay mananatili sa normal nitong operasyon.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na manatiling ligtas, mapagmatyag, at patuloy na sumubaybay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo at abiso ng Lokal na Pamahalaan.

Personnel of Catanauan Municipal Police Station, led by 𝗣𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗟𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗦 𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗔, 𝗖𝗢𝗣, implemented a Search Warrant operation with number 2026-24 for Violation of RA 10591, issued by Executive Judge of RTC Gumaca, Quezon, dated July 23, 2026 at Sitio Igang, Brgy Milagrosa, Catanauan, Quezon, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of the following pieces of evidence:

a. One caliber .38 revolver, no serial number;
b. Three pcs of live ammunition of Caliber .38 and
c. Three pcs of live ammunition of cal. 7.62.

Physical inventory and photographs of the confiscated pieces of evidence are witnessed by the presence of two Barangay Councilors of Brgy Milagrosa, Catanauan, Quezon and the suspect himself. Arrested suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and subsequently brought to this station for proper disposition. Said operation was recorded using two alternative recording devices (ARD) in compliance with A.M No. 21-06-08-SC.
