"Alas-Kwatro Kontra Dengue Mosquito"

In compliance with the Department Memorandum No. 167, the Department of Health launched the Nationwide Search and Destroy Breeding Sites for Dengue Prevention and Control under the theme "Alas-Kwatro Kontra Dengue Mosquito"

As part of this nationwide campaign, the Provincial DOH Office of Northern Samar actively participated in this simultaneous Search & Destroy activity on February 24, 2025, at exactly 4:00 PM.

As part of its Dengue prevention & control efforts, the Provincial Government of Northern Samar through the Provincial Health Office and Northern Samar Provincial Hospital have also implemented Search and Destroy measures within their respective premises. To ensure a clean and mosquito-free environment, the LGUs of the various municipalities also participated in the said activity.

This simultaneous activity successfully reinforced the importance of community-wide participation in Dengue prevention and control, through proactive measures such as regular inspection, proper waste disposal, and environmental sanitation, the risk of mosquito-borne diseases can be significantly reduced.

Together, we can demonstrate the power of a unified approach to Dengue prevention and control in Eastern Visayas.
