The Knights of Columbus – Our Mother of Perpetual Help Council No. 14602 has once again earned prestigious recognition from the Visayas State Council, receiving the BEST IN ACTION PROGRAM AWARD for Columbian Year 2025–2026.

Among more than 1,050 Knights of Columbus Councils throughout the Visayas, OMPH Council 14602 was recognized for excellence in:

🏆 BEST IN ACTION PROGRAM – FAMILY

Under the leadership of Sir Knight Lance M. Guevara, Grand Knight, together with the Council Officers, Program Directors, Brother Knights, Ladies Auxiliary, and dedicated partners, the Council continues to strengthen its commitment to serving the Church, families, and the community.

The prestigious awards were officially received on behalf of OMPH Council 14602 by Sir Knight Roger Leaño, District Deputy, during the Visayas State Council gathering held at bai Hotel Cebu, Cebu City, and were presented by Worthy State Deputy Sir Knight Judge Odelon Mabutin.

The awards were subsequently brought home to OMPH Council 14602 and formally handed over during the Installation of Officers. The presentation was made by Rev. Fr. Jose O. Sumayop Jr., Outgoing Council Chaplain, together with District Deputy Sir Knight Roger Leaño, marking another proud and memorable milestone for the Council.

This marks the second consecutive year that OMPH Council 14602 has received major recognition from the Visayas State Council.

During Columbian Year 2024–2025, the Council was also honored with:

🏆 BEST IN ACTION PROGRAM – COMMUNITY

With these achievements, OMPH Council 14602 has now been recognized across all four major Faith in Action program areas—Faith, Family, Community, and Life—over two consecutive Columbian Years.

Grand Knight Sir Knight Lance M. Guevara expressed his sincere gratitude to Worthy State Deputy Sir Knight Judge Odelon Mabutin, the panel of judges and evaluators, and the Visayas State Council for recognizing the Council’s programs, initiatives, and commitment to meaningful service.

He likewise extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Council Officers, Program Directors, Brother Knights, Ladies Auxiliary, clergy, partner organizations, volunteers, and the entire OMPH community whose collective dedication made these achievements possible.

These awards are more than recognitions—they represent the faith, unity, charity, fraternity, and unwavering spirit of service that continue to guide OMPH Council 14602.
