🌊💙 LGU Catarman Employees Join the International Coastal Cleanup 2026 💙🌊

The Local Government Unit of Catarman, through its dedicated employees and in coordination with their respective barangays, successfully participated in the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) held on September 19, 2026.

With the theme “Karapatan sa Karagatan, Sama-Sama Nating Alagaan,” the activity highlighted the importance of protecting our oceans, keeping our coastal areas clean, and promoting responsible waste management.

Through the collective efforts of LGU employees, barangay officials, volunteers, and community members, we continue to strengthen our commitment to environmental protection and the preservation of our marine resources.

TODAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026

To all residents covered by the scheduled collection of residual waste:

Please be informed that there will be NO COLLECTION OF RESIDUAL WASTE TODAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026, as the compactor truck is still currently undergoing maintenance.

In the meantime, we kindly ask all residents to securely store their residual waste within their premises and refrain from placing waste along roadsides, vacant lots, canals, or other unauthorized areas. This will help maintain cleanliness and prevent improper disposal while collection services are temporarily unavailable.

Waste collection will resume once the compactor truck is operational.
