CATBALOGAN CITY FIRE STATION CONDUCTED WATER SAFETY SYMPOSIUM ACTIVITY AT LA SIERRA ISLAND RESORT

CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar — The Catbalogan City Fire Station successfully conducted a Water Safety Symposium Activity at La Sierra Island Resort, Sierra Island, Barangay Cinco, Catbalogan City, Samar, as part of its continuing efforts to promote water safety awareness and strengthen community preparedness against water-related emergencies.

The activity provided participants with comprehensive discussions on water safety, drowning prevention, identification of water hazards, proper safety practices, and appropriate response during water-related emergencies. Practical demonstrations were also conducted to reinforce the participants’ understanding of basic water rescue awareness and the importance of taking immediate and proper action during emergency situations.

PARTICIPATION IN THE HOLY MASS IN HONOR OF THE FEAST OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW THE APOSTLE

CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar — August 17, 2026 - The personnel of the Catbalogan City Fire Station, under the leadership of FSINSP ROBERT H ESPINOLA, Acting City Fire Marshal, participated in the celebration of the Holy Mass in honor of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, the patron saint whose feast day is commemorated with faith and devotion.

As part of the religious celebration, the Catbalogan City Fire Station was honored to serve as one of the sponsors of the Holy Mass, expressing its support and solidarity with the community in commemorating the feast of the beloved patron saint.

FLAG CEREMONY AND TURNOVER OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar — August 17, 2026 - Personnel of the Catbalogan City Fire Station, under the supervision of FSINSP ROBERT H ESPINOLA, Acting City Fire Marshal, conducted the regular flag ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the values of discipline, patriotism, and dedicated public service.

Following the ceremony, a formal turnover of duties and responsibilities was conducted from outgoing Shift A to incoming Shift B. The activity ensured the proper endorsement of ongoing tasks, operational matters, equipment status, and other important responsibilities to maintain continuity and readiness in fire and emergency response operations.
