The meeting focused on key updates regarding the 𝐀𝐈𝐏/𝐏𝐏𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬, and 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬.

In a city that thrives on trust and cooperation, the Catbalogan Law Enforcement Auxiliary Office (CLEAO)continues to exemplify public service beyond enforcement. For the month of 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, several lost personal items were turned over to the office by vigilant citizens, PTU drivers, and CLEAO enforcers a testament to the shared responsibility of maintaining honesty within the community.

At the same time, individuals who reported lost belongings at the office received immediate assistance, as enforcers promptly coordinated to locate the vehicles where the items were reportedly left. Through these swift and coordinated efforts, all reported items were successfully recovered and returned to their rightful owners.

These individuals are contacting local businesses to negotiate transactions or make purchases, falsely claiming the expenses will be billed directly to the mayor or the city government. Neither Mayor Uy nor the LGU has authorized anyone to solicit or charge expenses on their behalf, as all official procurement strictly follows legal processes through designated personnel.
Please exercise extreme caution and verify any suspicious requests claiming LGU affiliation before proceeding with any transaction. If you are targeted by these fraudulent claims, decline the transaction immediately and report the incident to the Catbalogan City Police Station or the City Mayor’s Office for appropriate action.

The Catbalogan City Law Enforcement Auxiliary Office (CLEAO), in collaboration with partner offices, conducted Day 4 of the symposium in Barangay San Pablo to raise awareness and understanding of key local ordinances and national laws.

The program commenced with an introduction by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐁. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐞, 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐎 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, who presented the overview of the activity and delivered the Statement of Purpose. She emphasized that the symposium aims to educate residents and students about the Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), as well as relevant ordinances and laws implemented by CLEAO and partner offices. She highlighted the importance of cooperation, compliance, and shared responsibility in building a safer and more disciplined community.

The activity featured our distinguished speakers:

The Catbalogan City Law Enforcement Auxiliary Office (CLEAO), in collaboration with partner offices, conducted Day 2 of the symposium in Barangay 11 Poblacion to raise awareness and understanding of key local ordinances and national laws.

The program opened with Welcome Remarks by 𝐏𝐋𝐓𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐅 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐒𝐀(𝐑𝐞𝐭.), who welcomed everyone and expressed appreciation to the barangay officials for hosting and supporting the activity. He highlighted the importance of presenting the Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), Ordinances, and Laws of CLEAO and partner offices, and outlined the office’s mandate to enforce laws on traffic, environmental regulation, and other community-related matters.

To formally open the activity, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐁. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐞, 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐎 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, presented and delivered the Statement of Purpose, emphasizing the key objectives of the symposium: to inform the community about existing city ordinances, strengthen traffic discipline and road safety, promote proper waste segregation and environmental protection, and encourage stronger cooperation between citizens and the government for the betterment of every barangay and the entire Catbalogan City.

The activity featured our distinguished speakers:
• 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐀. 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐢, 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐎, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, who discussed Ordinance No. 2017-037: The Revised Traffic and Transport Ordinance.
• 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐍. 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐎, 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, who addressed and responded to the questions, concerns, and clarifications raised by the residents and other participants during the symposium.
• 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐓. 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐒𝐖𝐃𝐎, 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫/ 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, who presented the Salient Features of RA 9344 as Amended by RA 10630 and Safe and Healthy Homes: Empowering Families Against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

The program concluded with Closing Remarks by 𝐇𝐨𝐧.𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐋. 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟏 𝐏𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧, expressing the barangay’s support for initiatives that promote safety, discipline, and active community participation.

Through this initiative, CLEAO reaffirms its commitment to promoting civic responsibility, legal awareness, and stronger community partnerships, building safer, cleaner, and more empowered communities.
