Throughout every move and match, players demonstrated not only their critical thinking and mastery of the game but also the discipline, respect, and sportsmanship that make chess a timeless sport. The tournament brought together aspiring young talents and experienced players, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition, learning, and camaraderie.

This event marks another step in promoting intellectual growth, youth development, and community engagement through sports and recreation.

All 12 Puroks of Barangay Mercedes are encouraged to participate and proudly represent their colors, banners, chants, and unity as we kick off one of the biggest youth celebrations in our barangay. This parade is more than a competition โ€” it is a celebration of camaraderie, sportsmanship, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of the Buraknon youth. โœจ
