The activity aimed at strengthening clarity, alignment and quality in performance evaluation through updated standards and a shared understanding among raters.

Teachers and School Heads of Cateel 1 District participated in today’s Orientation on the Learning Systems Reform Policies. The activity highlighted important discussions and updates on current educational reforms, curriculum implementation, classroom assessment and the transition to the Three-Term School Calendar for School Year 2026–2027. Through this orientation, participants gained a deeper understanding of and guidance on effectively implementing these reforms while promoting a more responsive and learner-centered education system in their respective schools.

In line with the implementation of the Department of Education’s ARAL Summer Program 2026, the Cateel I District officially commenced its implementation today, May 6, 2026. This initiative aims to strengthen learners’ competencies in reading and mathematics across all participating schools in the district.

The program provides meaningful learning opportunities, reinforces foundational skills and supports the academic growth of learners in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Through the collaborative efforts of school heads, dedicated teachers and the active participation of learners, the district remains committed to promoting quality and inclusive education, where every learner is guided, supported and given the opportunity to succeed.

The Cateel I District stands united with the Department of Education in nurturing lifelong learners and upholding the principle that no child is left behind.
